More on CANADIAN FILM WEEK
We are thrilled to announce Grand Unified Theory is one of 14 films confirmed to screen at the Whistler Film Festival this year! This will be our Canadian Premiere and we couldn't be more proud. Our film (directed, written and produced by David Ray) will be in competition for the WFF's coveted Borsos Award. It honours the late great filmmaker Phillip Borsos (The Grey Fox) and is administered by his widow Beret along with a panel of guests to the festival. This year Deepa Mehta will serve as the head of the jury for the Best Canadian Feature supported by Telefilm Canada, which honors independent vision, original directorial style and the diversity of talent found in Canadian independent film.
